Self-acceptance means liking yourself just the way you are and knowing that your differences make you special. Everyone looks, thinks, and feels a little different and that’s what makes the world fun and interesting! When we celebrate differences, we learn to be kind, confident, and proud of who we are. Reading books about self-acceptance can help you understand your feelings, see new perspectives, and remind you that being yourself is always the best choice.
