The Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design invites schools to participate in the 2026-2027 #808Reads Challenge from August 1, 2026 through May 13, 2027.  Students and staff earn digital badges when they read and log minutes in the Beanstack app. There is no cost for schools to participate.

Librarians and teachers can easily use the Beanstack digital reading log to organize and manage classroom, grade level, and school-wide reading efforts.

#808Reads encourages reading more regularly, to build a habit of reading that can last a lifetime. Readers log their minutes using Beanstack, and in turn receive small rewards, incentives, and reminders.
